Engr. Binondo is currently the Division Chief of Solar and Wind Energy Management Division at the Department of Energy (DOE). He has more than ten (10) year work of experience in the electric power industry and solar and wind technologies.
He earned his Master’s Degree in Master of Business Administration in Pamantasan ng Lungdol ng Maynila and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in Technological University of the Philippines. He attained his bachelor’s degree of Electrical Engineering in University of Saint Louis.
Engr. Binondo has expertise in policy recommendation, implementation, and evaluation of the Electric Power Industry Reform Act (EPIRA) and Renewable Energy Policies. He had regularly represented the DOE in several technical committees and technical working group such as Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), Rules Change, PEMC-Technical Committees, PEMC - Audit Committee, MO-SO Working Group, Distribution Management Committee, Market Management System Working Group.
